Corporate Volenteering
For companies with an ESG agenda, we can arrange a planting event that can be included in Corporate Volenteering. At the event employees can handplant trees in the forest, the company donates trees to.
With a day outdoors where joint green efforts are in focus, the initiative benefits both the climate, the local community, and the company's employees.
New Forests contributes to:
- CO2 storage and counteracting global warming.
- Ensuring clean drinking water when planted over groundwater reservoirs.
- More nature and increased biodiversity.
- Creation of new recreational areas.
The initiative aligns with several of the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals, as new forests have a positive effect especially on:
Goal #13: Climate action
Taking action to combat climate changes and its impacts.
Goal #6: Clean water and sanitation
Strive towards ensuring access to water and sanitation for all.
Goal #15: Life on land
Sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, halt and reserve land degradation and halt biodiversity loss.
How
We arrange planting events for Corporate Volenteering for companies that donate a minimum of XXX trees.
Growing Trees Network prepares the event in collaboration with the forester responsible for planting the forest. This includes the amount of trees the company wish to plant, marking has been carried out so it is clear where the trees are to be planted, etc.
Price
An additional cost covers the professionals arranging the event. The price for each event is calculated based on the number of participants and trees planted.
Min. price per. event is DKK 12,000 / 1,615€ + VAT
