After 2 years of establishment care, the landowner is responsible for the future care. The new forests are subject to a peace forest obligation that secures these in the future in accordance with the Forest Act. The forests can contribute to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CO2 storage and counteracting global warming.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring clean drinking water when planted over important groundwater reservoirs.<\/li>\n<li>More nature and increased biodiversity.<\/li>\n<li>Creation of new recreational areas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The effect of a forest depends on geographical location, local conditions and future management.<\/p>\n<p>See example of a Forest Certificate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.growingtrees.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/Forest-Certificate-DK-ex-1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"pgc-10959-1-1\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell\" ><div id=\"panel-10959-1-1-0\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_sow-editor panel-first-child panel-last-child\" data-index=\"2\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-sow-editor so-widget-sow-editor-base\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t>\n<div class=\"siteorigin-widget-tinymce textwidget\">\n\t<p>New forests are established with trees donated by citizens, companies, organizations, foundations etc.<\/p>\n<p>The donations finance:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparation of soil and purchase of plants.<\/li>\n<li>Planting of up to 4,000 trees per hectare on areas where trees are planted.<br \/>\nIn addition, the forests can contain paths, lakes and green areas.<\/li>\n<li>Possible fencing around the forest in the first years. A requirement that ensures that the donated trees are not eaten by wildlife.<\/li>\n<li>2 years of establishment care ensuring the best possible growing conditions for the trees.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Price per. tree: DKK 22.50 incl.
