We, Southern Management Association, run an academic journal based in the United States. Our annual conference has always been held in the United States, but this year it will take place in Copenhagen in July 2025. Normally, we provide an actual gift to our members, but taking into account the international shipping, we decided to find a local project in Denmark to support to lower our carbon footprint.
After searching the internet for options, we discovered Growing Trees Network who does afforestation projects all over Denmark. So, we decided to plant trees. The Editors of the journal were excited by the opportunity to give back in a meaningful way.
