What your donations go to
Growing Trees Network works to create the shortest possible path from donation to afforestation in order to make the biggest impact to combat climate changes, protect important aquifers, improve public health, increase biodiversity and to support living conditions locally around the world.
We do this in collaboration with our carefully selected network of tree planting partners around the world. Our aim is to give you as many planted trees for your donation as possible.
In Denmark, all new forests are granted the status as permanent and establish on land owned by the Danish Nature Agency, municipalities, churches, water plants and private landowners.
Outside of Denmark, new afforestation projects are done in collaboration with Danish NGO's or companies operating locally to ensure solid project follow-up and quality.
The effect of tree planting is highly dependent on many factors like location, local conditions and how the forest is maintained and operated.
80% of donations is forwarded directly to the owners of the afforestation projects and 20% is kept to cover our administrations costs.
