Private sponsor - how to support
Our goal is to create the shortest possible path from donation to afforestation to speed up efforts for the climate.
We create the cooperation necessary so that we can "lift together" for the climate with tree donations from individuals, companies, foundations and others.
In Denmark, new forests are established on land made available by the Danish Nature Agency, municipalities, churches, water plants or private landowners.
Abroad, new forests are raised in collaboration with Danish NGOs locally rooted working with climate and/or social projects.
Possibilities for private donation
One-time donations
- Via the “Støt” button (currently only available on the Danish website) at the top right, you are linked to our shop, where you choose your donation.
- If you provide your social security no in the text field placing your donation, we automatically report your deductible donation for the year to SKAT (for Danish citizens only). In 2025, donations from private individuals up to DKK 19,000 are deductible.
- Sponsors living outside of Denmark can donate using bank transfer. Please contact us for bank details.
- You can then choose which forest you wish to donate to.
- If you do not choose a forest, we distribute the trees amongst our forest projects.
- After payment, you will receive an email confirming the donation, as well as a certificate.
- As soon as possible after that, we will send you an email with an offer to get a personal certificate if you want to give your donation to someone as a gift.
Fixed monthly donation

- If you want to unsubscribe from your monthly donation, you contact us and your subscription will stop at the end of the following months.
Create your own collection
If you want to make your own collection at work, at school, the association or otherwise, we can make it possible by naming and adding your collection as an option on our donation page (currently only available in Danish on the Danish website)
The collection takes place through us and we will continuously keep you informed about how it is going.
You choose for how long the collection will last and in which afforestation project the donated trees will be planted. Contact us for more information.
Participation in forest inaugurations
Where possible, forest inaugurations are held in collaboration with our partners. Here, those present can take part in a festive celebration at the opening of the forest, which is typically inaugurated with a few speeches, a joint forest song and subsequent hand-planting of trees. Plant sticks can be decorated, for example, with a name, message or drawing and placed next to the trees planted by the participants.
At inaugurations of new forests on public land, everyone is welcome to participate, including family, friends, neighbours, colleagues and others.
Planting seasons are spring and autumn.
